Vintage 1930's Steiff Velvet Squirrel w/Button

Description

4 1/4” tall to the top of his ear tuffs, Steiff velvet brown squirrel holding his original velvet acorn. He has some of his original whiskers, black button eyes, cute expression, and his underscored Steiff button which dates him from 1936 to 1942. Overall condition is good with no damage to his brown velvet and the color is still bright. The mohair tail and ear tuffs have some minor hair loss. There is no loss to the velvet; it is just the knap of the material. He comes from a no smoking home.
