Primitive food choppers were a staple in every early American household back in the day. As many families grew their own food, choppers were needed to to get that food to the table and so there were choppers for all most any conceivable task. The two handled rocker chopper is a great example of one kind you might commonly find, chopping vegetables into pot sized pieces. The single handle chopper may have been used in a wooden bowl just slightly bigger than the blade to finely mince herbs or garlic. Both choppers are in excellent antique condition, sturdy with blades firmly attached and rich patina on the handles. Ready as is to add to your primitive collection.
